Prototype for The Clintonville Handyman

The work sits behind the text message.

Customers already text Jon. The jobs live in that thread and in a reminders list. This prototype is the operating view on Jon's side of the conversation.

What is hard today

A quiet customer can drop out of memory. A generic "just checking in" text feels like a nudge to re-book. And a reply that says the problem is getting worse looks like any other message unless someone is watching for it.

Queue Care

Queue Care is reassurance for people who are already waiting. The customer should come away thinking they are still on the list, that Jon is working through it, and that they do not need to do anything unless something changed. Silence can be a successful outcome. This is not a tool for chasing cold leads.

  1. Customer
  2. SMS
  3. Clintonville Handyman Ops

The customer does not get an app, a login, or a chatbot. They keep texting. Customers, projects, the queue, and the assistant stay on Jon's side.

What you can walk through

Generate a lead and follow it from the first text until it becomes a job, or until Jon decides not to take it. Queue and Today stay empty until a job is placed in the backlog or marked scheduled. Nothing in this demo sends a real text.

Every person and phone number is fictional. Texting is simulated.
